About The Position

East Hampton Veterinary Group is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to cats and dogs. What to Expect A schedule that respects your time. Our last appointment of the day is at 4:30pm. You won’t be expected to stay late or be on call. A 2:1 staff to doctor ratio. You will have the support—and respect—you need to be excellent for our patients. Our current team consists of 1 DVM, 1 part-time LVT, 5 Assistants, and 3 CSRs. About East Hampton Veterinary Group East Hampton Veterinary Group has served the East End since 1929 and is the oldest veterinary practice in the region, trusted by generations of families for compassionate, personalized care. Today, the hospital is owned and led by Dr. Kenneth Palmer, who blends traditional veterinary medicine with homeopathic and holistic treatments including Chinese herbal therapies and acupuncture. The practice is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratories, echocardiogram capabilities, and offers a wide range of surgical services from routine procedures to advanced surgeries such as TPLO and TTA, along with dentistry, acupuncture, and fear-free techniques. We also offer online booking, utilize digital records through the latest version of Impromed, and provide tools like PetDesk and an online store to enhance the client experience. The schedule follows the seasonal rhythm of the Hamptons, with a busier late spring through early fall and a steadier off season. As the practice approaches its 100-year anniversary, we are seeking an experienced veterinarian with at least 2 years of clinical experience who enjoys both medical and surgical care, with confidence in spay, neuter, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. As we continue to build out our team, including hiring a Medical Director, this is an opportunity to be part of a hospital that is actively growing and evolving. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in the state of New York
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
confidence in spay, neuter, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery
