More about the Role We are seeking a seasoned DVM with at least two years of experience who loves surgery and is eager to bring their expertise to a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Our staff is skilled, supportive, and vibrant, making every day rewarding and enjoyable. Our multi-doctor team serves a diverse caseload including dogs, cats, birds, and other exotics. We offer a full range of services including advanced and routine surgical procedures, dentistry, wellness care, diagnostic assessments, and more. Many of our current team members are already Fear Free Certified , and we are on our way to becoming a fully Fear Free Certified Practice , because we believe in creating a positive experience for every fur baby and client. Compensation We offer competitive salaries and overall compensation packages , with the opportunity to earn a base salary as high as $150,000 alongside additional production bonuses depending on your surgical experience. Requirements

  • DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
  • Appropriate state licensure.
  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
  • Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
  • Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
  • Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
  • Maintain patients’ medical records.
  • Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
