Requirements
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA -accredited institution
- Eligible for (or holding) state licensure
- DEA/BNDD eligibility
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- A collaborative, team -oriented mindset
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted (or more with help)
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough exams and diagnose illnesses and injuries in companion animals
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret results to guide treatment plans
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options
- Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications
- Provide compassionate end -of -life care
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Uphold the highest standards of veterinary ethics and protocols
