About The Position

Agoura Animal Clinic is a well-established, full-service, multi-doctor hospital providing quality care for dogs, cats, exotics, pocket pets, and birds. For over 40 years, we’ve delivered personalized veterinary care while fostering a family-like, team-oriented environment. We are deeply connected to our community, offering free first exams for animals adopted from local shelters. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian ready to grow professionally and potentially step into a leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity for those with surgery experience or a passion for exotics, though new graduates with a desire to learn are welcome. Healthy work-life balance with flexible schedule and no on-call requirements. Advanced diagnostics: digital X-rays (full body & dental), in-house lab, high-resolution ultrasound. Surgical capabilities: soft tissue and dental surgeries. Excellent support staff, including 2 RVTs. Efficient workflow with 12–24 hour turnaround for outside lab results. Structured orientation and mentorship program for new grads. Peer networking and support via Zoom roundtables and Slack discussions. Guidance from experienced veterinarians to build confidence and skills. Opportunities for leadership and career advancement. Requirements

  • DVM/VMD or equivalent license eligible to practice in California.
