Practice Broadway Veterinary Hospital opened in June 2007. The team has a combined total of 45 years of clinical experience and practices thorough and compassionate veterinary medicine, surgery, and dentistry. More about the Role We are currently offering up to a $50K sign on bonus! Broadway Veterinary Hospital is excited to be adding another Associate Veterinarian to our practice! Our team consists of 3 Veterinarians. Our support staff is confident and skilled in anesthetics, dentistry, radiology, and lab testing, so we can allow our DVMs to focus on surgery, exams, and diagnostics. Together, we have created a casual and friendly atmosphere for everyone involved in the practice. Broadway's mission is to practice modern medicine with old-fashioned caring. Requirements

DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
Appropriate state licensure.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
Maintain patients’ medical records.
Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
