Campus Veterinary Clinic in Berkley, CA is hiring an Associate Veterinarian for our full-service animal hospital located in Berkley, CA that sees dogs, cats, pocket pets, guinea pigs, and exotics. Check us out at: campusveterinary.com Clinic Snapshot Practice type: Small Animal General Practice, primarily with cats, dogs, and some pocket pets and exotics with focus on wellness and preventative medicine with urgent and emergency care. Avg. daily patient volume: ~16 per DVM Support staff ratio: ~3 : 1 DVM Case mix: Some of our services include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. We have a big focus on pet wellness and preventative cases providing vaccinations, microchipping, dental care, behavior counseling, radiology, lab work, testing, urgent and emergency care, and a comprehensive in-house pharmacy. Technology & equipment: Ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house labs, etc. Team culture: The Campus Pet Clinic staff is dedicated to excellent patient care, client communication, and teamwork which makes it a great environment for a veterinarian to fully utilize their medicine and surgery skills. Currently, we have multiple techs and assistants and three highly skilled, hardworking, and kind DVMs. We are in a great place to welcome an experienced veterinarian or provide mentorship to someone looking to learn and grow.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
  • Compassionate, client-centered approach to care
  • Strong communication and client-education skills
  • Open to part-time or full-time candidates, and we welcome experienced veterinarians or recent graduates looking to learn and grow
