About The Position

Our BluePearl Pet Hospital - Buffalo in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine clinician to join our caring and well-respected emergency and specialty hospital. Our current Internal Medicine clinician is retiring after several decades in the area, and we are looking for an internist to care for patients from our strong referral base. We offer a competitive salary and relocation package available in addition to a sign-on bonus of up to $100,000! Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000 BluePearl Pet Hospital-Buffalo, formerly Greater Buffalo Veterinary Emergency Clinic, is a well-established small animal hospital, providing 24-hour emergency and urgent care to the Western New York region, and internal medicine by referral appointment during the week. This region has one of the lowest costs-of-living compared to most cities in the U.S., while providing a great opportunity for outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, boating as well as city amenities such as ethnic dining, cultural museums, theater and music. Our highly supportive local veterinary referral base draws from a wide area. This affords us a plentiful and interesting caseload, keeping our staff engaged and providing many opportunities for team members to challenge themselves. Our veterinarians are supported by well-trained, credentialed veterinary technicians and support staff. Our modern facility features two surgical suites, digital radiography, and ultrasonography. and we are paper light with Instinct Electronic Medical Records. All our imaging studies are read by Board Certified Radiologists. Our hospital is located near the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, 10 minutes from Downtown Buffalo and 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. The city of Buffalo is undergoing a rejuvenation of its downtown area, featuring Harbor Center and the beautiful waterfront. You can enjoy outdoor concerts at Canalside, national sporting events, a historic theatre district, and renowned food. When the Buffalo snow hits, spend your winter months on the slopes at one of the nearby ski resorts. The annual salary range for this position is $167,000 to $245,000. Additionally, you may be eligible to earn certain production as determined in accordance with company policy.
