About The Position

Elk Creek Animal Hospital of Bullitt County is seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our well-established, family-oriented practice. Our newly renovated facility offers a modern and welcoming environment designed for both staff and clients. With a focus on high-quality care and a strong sense of community, we're proud of our excellent reputation in the area. Our hospital features 4 exam rooms with plenty of natural light, a surgical suite, treatment area, and in-house lab for fast diagnostics. We have state-of-the-art equipment, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, and a surgical laser, with plans for a dental x-ray in the near future. We focus primarily on small animal care (98%), with some exotics and farm animals. Elk Creek is known for providing advanced surgery and dental care, and we offer flexible appointment scheduling to meet the needs of our clients and their pets.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• State veterinary license in good standing.
• Passion for animal care and client relationships.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals, exotics, and farm animals.
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment for diagnostics and treatment.

• Mentor and support junior staff and new veterinarians.
