About The Position
Cherry Valley Veterinary Hospital is searching for a skilled veterinarian to lead our small animal hospital in Duvall, Washington. As Dr. Lance Weeks plans for retirement, we're looking for an experienced veterinarian to join our team as Medical Director. In this role, you will lead the Cherry Valley team and uphold the high standards of care we've provided our community since 2003. You will influence the future of our clinic, build upon our hospital's current strengths, elevate our services, and encourage new business ideas. Experienced Medical Directors are highly encouraged to apply, however, we're also open to emerging leaders and experienced Associates with 5+ years of clinical experience. The Cherry Valley team enjoys having natural light in every room and access to an efficient, open treatment area. Our equipment is state-of-the-art, and our facility was beautifully renovated. We primarily treat small animals and provide a full range of care including general wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, radiology, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, and laser therapy. Our staff is well-trained, works cohesively, and is a vital component of our hospital's positive culture where everyone is motivated to support one another, our patients, and our clients. We are searching for a candidate with excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for leading a practice, strong leadership skills, and a positive outlook. A passion for small animal medicine, trust in their technician and support teams, a love for teaching, and a willingness to mentor others are essential. The ideal candidate should be eager to build relationships with our client base and committed to lifelong learning and staying on top of the latest industry developments and tools. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role (4- or 5-day work week) with no weekends, on-call, or emergency afterhours required. Through teamwork, we leave on time and provide a flexible schedule that promotes a balanced work week. Plus, we're only a short drive away from skiing, snowboarding, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, and fishing, and only 40 minutes from Seattle!
