About The Position

Shelton Veterinary Clinic, in Interlachen, Florida, is actively seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team! Experienced or new grads are welcome to apply! Our recently renovated, stand-alone facility features: 4 fully equipped exam rooms, a surgical suite & dedicated treatment/dental area, digital dental & general radiography, CryoPen & anesthesia monitoring, isolation, pharmacy, doctor’s office & lounge, and a small boarding area. We’re in a rural community, offering the case diversity of a mixed-animal practice with the supportive culture of a family team. Our team is known for getting patients in quickly, treating clients like family, and working collaboratively on cases.

Requirements

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Compassionate and motivated attitude.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mixed-animal practice.
• Confidence in surgical and diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care to small animals and some exotics & poultry.
• Collaborate with experienced support staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Participate in mentorship programs to develop surgical and diagnostic skills.
