About The Position
Deep Creek Veterinary Hospital in Chesapeake, Virginia is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time veterinarian to join our expanding 4-doctor practice. We are a full-service companion animal hospital that has been providing exceptional care to canines and felines for 28 years. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including the Inovadent Complete Dental cart, In-House Idexx lab equipment, Urinalysis (Sediview), and digital radiography, ensuring that we deliver the highest standard of care to our patients. We pride ourselves on our positive, wellbeing-focused culture, where most of our staff have been with us for over a decade and enjoy team-building activities such as hiking, mud runs, bowling, and karaoke. As a veterinarian at Deep Creek Veterinary Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a flexible schedule, typically working 4 days a week with rotating Saturday shifts. We do not have any after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our practice emphasizes mentorship, making it an ideal place for new graduates or experienced veterinarians looking to grow their skills in general medicine and surgery. We offer 30+ minute appointments to ensure thorough care and attention for each patient, and you will have the support of 2 assistants per doctor, along with a dedicated lab and treatment assistant.
