About The Position

Join the Annapolis Animal Hospital Team in Annapolis, MD - Mentorship Available! Annapolis Animal Hospital, established in 1932, is a beloved, full-service small animal clinic located in a cozy, home-like setting in Annapolis, MD. We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian to join our dedicated team as we continue to provide personalized care to the pets of our community. Our clinic offers a unique and welcoming environment, located in a charming residential area near the Navy Stadium. Our office space feels like home with natural lighting, cozy lounges, and a supportive, family-like atmosphere. We are well-equipped with Ultrasound, Digital X-rays, Dental X-rays, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment. We are upgrading to a new IDEXX x-ray machine and Sedivue in the coming months. We are a small, tight-knit team that fosters long-term relationships with our clients. Many have been with us for over 20 years and trust us to provide the best care for their pets.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• State veterinary license in good standing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a small animal practice is preferred but not required.
• Interest in pursuing specializations or advanced training.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate veterinary care to small animals.
• Conduct examinations and diagnose health issues.
• Perform surgeries and dental procedures as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and care options.
