About The Position

This position serves as the field team lead and provides functional direction to field staff and is the primary point of escalation for customer, vet, or store partner issues. The incumbent will also drive company vehicles to vaccination clinics and is responsible for the overall performance and operational compliance of the day’s clinics. The role includes providing functional direction and supervision to the field team, effectively performing functions of all clinic team roles, and ensuring all clinic processes are followed accurately.

Requirements

  • Must be able to perform all clinic job roles.
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and an aptitude for basic sales techniques.
  • Hold leadership qualities and/or experience.
  • Be able to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and provide functional direction to the team.
  • Comfortable handling and restraining animals within company policy.
  • Existing partners applying must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional direction and supervision to field team.
  • Effectively perform functions of all clinic team roles and provide coaching and functional direction to individuals in these roles.
  • Safely operate company supplied vehicle to and from clinic locations and office.
  • Communicate with customers and business partners to manage difficult customer situations.
  • Liaise with leadership at clinic locations to determine optimal clinic location and manage any issues.
  • Ensure all clinic processes are followed and necessary paperwork is filled out accurately.
  • Facilitate a sales environment among the team by leading discussions during daily commutes.
  • Ensure proper handling of all revenues for the day.
  • Assist customers in completing paperwork for accurate medical records.
  • Manage crowd and clean up pet waste.
  • Offer available discounts to customers experiencing unpleasant experiences.
  • Assist in training new partners according to training plan expectations.
  • Understand and communicate Vetco medical recommendations and products.
  • Communicate with store management to build cooperation and business success.
  • Present report card and site report to MOD at the conclusion of the clinic.
  • Confirm the clinic area is clean before departure.
  • Notify store if clinic team is running late.
  • Reconcile all equipment and supplies at the end of the clinic and day.
  • Escalate any clinic issues to Market Manager, Store Manager, or Vetco Customer Service.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork and checklists.
  • Restock rig supplies and product bins at the end of the day.
  • Participate in company and sponsor facilitated training related to products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Complete the Clinic Lead reports for each shift.
