About The Position
For over 30 years, Walnut Grove Animal Clinic has proudly served the Memphis community with full-service veterinary care. We are a busy, collaborative GP hospital offering wellness care, general and orthopedic surgery, urgent care, and light emergency stabilization — all under one roof. Our team includes 9 DVMs with strong technician support and a culture built on collaboration, respect, and long-term retention. What You’ll Do • Assist with patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics • Support DVMs during exams, treatments, and procedures • Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, injections, radiographs, and EKGs • Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, updates, and discharge instructions • Collaborate with the team to maintain efficient hospital workflow • Continue developing your skills in a structured, supportive environment
Requirements
- Active LVT/CVT/RVT license (required)
- Must be available for evening shifts and rotating Saturdays
- Team-oriented, dependable, and positive
- Confident communicator with clients and staff
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong anesthesia and technical skills
Responsibilities
