Communication with customers regarding drugs, anesthesia, vaccinations, and post-operative instructions is essential. The technician will prep, monitor, and move patients throughout the surgical workflow, emphasizing the safety of both staff and patients. Proper handling of animals during movements and while restraining them is crucial. Additional responsibilities include maintaining medical records, cleaning kennels, making sterile surgical packs, monitoring equipment, and performing laundry and mopping tasks.
