About The Position
Veterinary Assistant: Carolina Ranch Animal Hospital and Resort, a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital and resort in Garner, NC, is looking for an experienced full- or part-time veterinary Assistant to join our team. Our unique hospital and luxury pet resort offers a fun, fast-paced, team-oriented working environment. We also offer monthly lunch-n-learns about new products and services. Veterinary experience of at least two years is required. The preferred candidate should have basic veterinary knowledge, such as the following: vaccine protocols, heartworm and flea prevention, animal handling/husbandry, venipuncture and running lab tests Anesthetic monitoring, intubation, and catheter placement Candidate must also have good computer and organizational skills, attention to detail, a sense of humor, upbeat personality, and great customer service skills.
Requirements
- Veterinary experience of at least two years
