About The Position

As a Vet Assistant at the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care (VECC) in Newington, NH, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to animals in need. Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures by preparing instruments and equipment.
  • Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising them as needed.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the hospital, reporting any changes to the veterinary staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospital, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of waste properly.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing them with updates on their pets' conditions and answering any questions they may have.
