About The Position
The Tech Solutions Engineering Intern at Aptiv will be immersed in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment that demands flexibility, adaptability, and initiative. This role is crucial in supporting the design and implementation of innovative connection systems for electrified vehicles. The intern will be based in Warren, OH, and will have the opportunity to work closely with product development teams to ensure that Aptiv's technology aligns with customer needs and business objectives. The intern will coordinate design and design change activities for various electrified vehicle customers, ensuring compliance with customer-specific requirements and contributing to the overall success of the projects. In this position, the intern will lead the implementation of the latest technologies into Aptiv product designs, leveraging the company's unique product differentiators to provide a competitive advantage in terms of technology, cost, quality, and services. The intern will also be responsible for creating and delivering technically strong presentations to customers, showcasing Aptiv's capabilities and solutions. Collaboration with Aptiv sales and business lines will be essential to ensure that business objectives are met, and the intern will support and work closely with Electrification teams in other regions to monitor and participate in harness and customer launch activities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the area of electrical architecture and connection systems.
