We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented VERTICAL MILL MACHINIST to join our Machine Shop and Manufacturing team. The Vertical Mill Machinist works to set up and operate vertical milling machines for high-accuracy metalwork. You’ll handle milling, drilling, boring, tapping, and reaming operations, using your knowledge of materials and machining to plan and execute each job with precision. You’ll secure workpieces, set up tools, adjust feeds and speeds, and verify dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. If you know your way around blueprints, setups, and measuring tools—and take pride in doing things right the first time—we want to hear from you. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of Machinist experience, Acer or Bridgeport milling equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures.
  • Able to read blueprints and set up equipment accordingly.
