LET’S GO! Position Overview Dude Perfect is looking for an elite social-first vertical content editor to lead the charge on our biggest brand partnerships and high-profile social content. We don’t need a generalist; we need a specialist who lives in the weeds of YouTube, TikTok, and Reels and has the technical chops to make every sponsored frame look legendary. You’re the person we go to for our most important brand projects. You specialize in cutting both 16x9 and 9x16 social-first edits that satisfy our partners while keeping the DP audience engaged. You’ve spent years in the trenches with top-tier creators or pro sports teams, and you know how to deliver that one-of-one level of visual polish even when the deadlines are tight. Who You Are You are a master of Adobe Premiere and After Effects. You can take a standard shot and elevate it into a "how-did-they-do-that" moment with seamless VFX, screen replacements, and high-end motion graphics. You don't guess what works; you know. You understand the science of the first 1.5 seconds and how to structure an edit that drives 100%+ retention. You know how to integrate brand partners into the DP world so it feels like premium entertainment, not a commercial. You balance clean with chaotic perfectly. You have an exceptional sense of comedic timing and emotional storytelling. You know exactly when to let a moment breathe and when to cut for maximum impact. You’ve spent 5+ years in the creator or sports world. You aren't rattled by big-name feedback or fast turnarounds; you simply lock-in and deliver elite results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a high-level video editor specifically in the short-form creator space, pro sports, or at a top-tier creative agency.
• Deep knowledge of multi-cam sequences, advanced color grading, and sound mixing.
• You must be proficient in VFX implementation, tracking, masking, and creating platform-native motion graphics.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to tell engaging stories quickly and apply social-specific editing techniques to high-end brand content.
• Experience managing multiple, fast-paced projects with complex asset structures under tight deadlines and work back schedules.

Nice To Haves

• A deep, personal passion for the Dude Perfect brand and our mission.
• Experience working with A-list talent or global brand style guides (e.g., Nike, Gatorade, etc.).
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop for creating custom visual assets or overlays.
• Familiarity with collaborative tools like Monday, Frame.io, Slack, or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Own the editing and development of high-impact vertical videos (TikTok, Shorts, Reels) for our largest brand partnerships and sponsored content.
• Expertly cut all sizes of footage into social-first 9x16 formats, ensuring cinematic quality is maintained while applying a social-first lens to pacing and structure.
• Design and implement motion graphics, VFX, and text overlays that are native to each social platform to amplify engagement and brand identity.
• Own the full editing cycle from rough cut to final color and sound mix, ensuring consistent, world-class output on a weekly schedule.
• Work closely with the social leadership and brand producers to implement feedback with speed and precision, maintaining the highest creative bar in the industry.
• Establish DP-standard editing templates and styles for the social team to keep a cohesive, premium look across all platforms.
