About The Position

The Vertical Account Manager role is focused on selling our risk and data solutions to Life Insurance carriers. It is anticipated that VAMs will insure and grow additional revenue opportunities and protect revenue base via a total solution strategic approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in direct or solutions B2B sales.
  • 5+ years of life insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in successfully building client relationships.
  • Prior experience working selling data solutions or SaaS solutions.
  • Excellent project management and analytical skills.
  • Able to travel up to 30% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Managing territory projections and plans, and implementing sales activities that assess revenue potential, and target revenue opportunities.
  • Working closely in a team environment with sales support and technical implementation employees to satisfy customer needs.
  • Managing customer roadmap retention plans/actions to ensure protection of base revenue.
  • Creating and implementing effective account/territory plans.
  • Developing gap analysis techniques to determine incremental opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Contacting and meeting with account decision makers to determine the business needs to penetrate new business opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
