About The Position

The Vertex Internship Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Ability to work under pressure, especially in live event settings, to meet high-quality standards
• Attention to detail in quality assurance and event setup
• Familiarity with AV systems, Zoom Rooms, and hybrid meeting setups
• Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future
• Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before May 2025
• Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from May - August 2025

Responsibilities

• Perform technical checks on AV systems
• Minor system configuration, break/fix, maintenance, troubleshooting and quality assurance checks
• Conference Room Meeting Support for Zoom Rooms and Zoom hybrid meetings
• Event Production: Event Engineering (graphics switching, audio mixing, camera operation, video switching)
