About The Position

The Verifications Specialist will be responsible for processing contracts by verifying applicant information and documentation for auto retail installment contracts. In this role, the Verification Specialist is responsible for assessing compliance on required loan documentation to comply with Federal regulations and company policy. In the role, resolves missing stipulations by communicating with internal and external customers, assesses compliance on required documentation, reviews and verifies accuracy of documentation, and communicates with potential customers and dealerships by answering product and service questions. Support and promote the OneMain Financial culture of teamwork and integrity. Other duties as assigned by Verification Team Lead.

Requirements

  • Customer Service: 1 year
  • High school or equivalent
  • Interpersonal skills promoting a team environment.
  • Six (6) months office experience or equivalent education and training.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
