About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving test strategies, test plans, and test execution for Ciena’s WaveLogic Optical Modem. Additionally, the candidate will support field activities and frequently interact with customers, PLM, and R&D. Develop comprehensive test plans to validate customer use-cases and product capabilities. Build test environment for test execution while considering potential and likely interactions across different features of the product. Perform validation testing activities, report defects and follow up on their closure with design team. Develop Python automation test cases for execution efficiency and augment existing automated test cases.
