About The Position

The Verification Analyst will be responsible for obtaining the necessary documentation for coders to complete accounts on hold, closely monitoring the Code Hold List to increase efficiencies with DNFC, analyzing discharged records for physician deficiencies, following up on the completion of deficiencies within a designated time-frame, and answering patient portal calls and following up with patients. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years relevant experience OR Graduate of a Certified Health Information Technology Program
• Registered Health Information Technology Certification. If not accredited, must be obtained within 6 months of hire date

• Experience with discharge analysis and patient portal
• Epic experience
• Strong medical terminology
