Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA) - or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, science, economics).
  • Previous experience at an accelerator/incubator or venture fund.
  • Experience working with startup/technology founders and leadership teams, particularly in recruiting and supporting them through business acceleration programs.
  • Understanding of business models and drivers of success in startups across several verticals, ideally in the Space sector.

Responsibilities

  • Leading efforts to recruit new ventures and facilitate their application process, including the identification of promising new technologies and high-growth potential founders.
  • Analyzing and systematically evaluating ventures, with the objective of screening in some ventures (to participate in the program) while screening out others.
  • Determining which venture applications to refer to committee for selection.
  • Designing and implementing logistical details and activities for events and/or programming.
  • Promoting programs and service offerings to internal and/or external contacts.
  • Fostering and maintaining a network of external contacts to build awareness and increase business potential - particularly as it relates to new venture recruitment, support and funding.
  • Fostering stakeholder engagement and maintaining relationships with project partners, as well as existing and potential sponsors/donors.
  • Promoting research initiatives to increase program visibility and reputation.
  • Applying and interpreting policies independently, handling sensitive information, and providing job-related guidance.
  • Coordinating tasks and strategic initiatives with stakeholders, tracking milestones, and implementing process improvements.
  • Conducting detailed data analysis, documenting project successes and adjustments, and recommending project design options.
  • Creating and editing support documentation, preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes, and scheduling committee meetings.
  • Verifying and editing research funding proposals, monitoring project accounts, and disseminating information about funding opportunities.
  • Implementing a communications plan to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Analyzing statistical information to evaluate the performance of programs and/or partnerships.
  • Monitoring established key performance indicators of projects or products.
  • Advising on branding strategies and attributes to support initiatives.
  • Liaising with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent brand messaging.
