The Opportunity Own internal systems including CRM, portfolio analytics, and data tracking. Improve operational workflows and documentation to enhance team productivity. Partner with leadership to streamline processes for sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management. Build internal tooling and automate key workflows using AI and other modern software platforms. Eventually build out a small team and manage junior talent to support more operations/events/community/content creation. Build and scale Inflect Health’s founder, operator, and clinician communities through events, roundtables, and network programs. Design and execute initiatives that connect portfolio companies with Inflect Health’s physician network and strategic partners. Manage and expand the firm’s network database to identify and facilitate high-value introductions for founders. Support portfolio companies by connecting them to relevant experts, talent, and vendor resources. Coordinate founder-focused events, dinners, and thought-leadership sessions to strengthen community engagement. Track engagement metrics to measure platform value creation and inform continuous improvement. Represent Inflect Capital at industry conferences and ecosystem events to strengthen relationships and visibility. Develop and distribute content that communicates Inflect Health’s mission, investment themes, and portfolio stories across social, newsletter, and blog channels. Support internal and external communications to elevate the firm’s presence across healthcare and venture ecosystems. Collaborate with Partners to shape messaging and materials for events, conferences, and strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required.
  • 3-6 years of experience in the startup operations/sales/go-to-market/product/chief of staff; management consulting, banking, venture, or startup accelerators required.
  • 2+ years of experience in startups, venture capital, healthcare innovation, or operating roles preferred.
  • Former entrepreneur or strong relevant venture/founder/operator network preferred.
  • Experience managing or contributing to events, partnerships, or community programs preferred.
  • Proficiency with modern productivity and AI tools for research, operations, and communication preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders with precision and follow-through.
  • Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills; ability to design and optimize internal workflows.
  • Experience using tools like Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, Zapier, and vibe coding/trialing new AI productivity platforms to automate and scale work.
  • Attention to detail combined with the ability to zoom out to see the broader strategic picture.
  • Natural connector who enjoys cultivating community and building long-term relationships.
  • Strong written communication skills; able to draft content, newsletters, and thought leadership materials.
  • Comfortable representing the firm externally at events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings.
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a low ego and a high sense of ownership.
  • Passion for building systems, communities, and brands from the ground up.
