About The Position

The Vendor Operations Analyst at Tractor Supply Company is responsible for enhancing vendor performance metrics such as On Time Shipment and Fill Rate, which are crucial for improving both top-line and bottom-line results. This role involves developing and communicating supply chain requirements, analyzing vendor performance, identifying trends, and leading discussions with vendor partners to share best practices. The analyst will also spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and serve as the subject matter expert on compliance programs related to vendor operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in logistics, supply chain, or operations, preferably in a retail environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, logistics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Create, analyze, and publish vendor performance reporting and insights.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to identify trends and communicate findings.
• Initiate and lead cross-functional conversations with vendor partners and internal teams to coach on processes and best practices.
• Maintain the vendor compliance system as the primary owner of compliance data.
• Review weekly chargebacks and release vendors as necessary.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate vendor training and requirement documentation.
• Review the Vendor Requirements Manual (VRM) frequently for accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve vendor opportunities related to ordering, systems, packaging, quality, and carrier relations.
• Lead vendor operations projects, enhancements, and initiatives.
• Onboard new suppliers by communicating supply chain requirements and monitoring initial performance.
