About The Position

Take your career to the next level by joining the Retail Video Games team at Amazon. We're looking for a customer obsessed, analytical and innovative individual to join us as a Senior Vendor Manager. This role will own the P&L for the largest names across video game publishers. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as inventory management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, operations, and finance to drive the performance of these strategic categories and vendor partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of with Excel experience
• 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management

• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets by executing annual and ongoing terms negotiations
• Have a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments
• Maximize Amazon's business and financial profitability through selection expansion opportunities
• Have a complete understanding of the customer needs, both existing and potential, and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience
• Build vendor/brand relationships - be the primary point of contact for vendor selection on-boarding, escalations and negotiations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines
• Have a complete understanding (inclusive of the strategic context) of internal and external variables that impact your business. This includes owning forecasting, analyzing, understanding and reporting on the business.
