About The Position

The Vendor Manager at Pulte Mortgage is a pivotal role responsible for leading the Vendor Management Program, which oversees all third-party relationships for Pulte Financial Services (PFS). This position requires a strong focus on governance and compliance, ensuring that all supplier contract activities are managed effectively. The Vendor Manager will oversee complex contract negotiations and collaborate with various business lines to ensure that all terms and pricing agreements are accurately reflected in contracts, adhering to PFS internal standards. The role involves close monitoring of all activities under the Vendor Management Program to mitigate risks associated with third-party relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in vendor management, particularly in contract and third-party risk management within the financial services sector. Excellent negotiation skills and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role. The Vendor Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor-related issues and inquiries. Regular communication with vendors will be crucial to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. In addition to vendor relationship management, the Vendor Manager will work closely with legal and business functions on vendor contract management, ensuring contracts are structured with appropriate risk provisions. This includes monitoring supplier performance to meet PFS's business objectives while managing costs and schedules. The role also involves establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance, conducting regular performance reviews, and implementing improvement plans as necessary. Furthermore, the Vendor Manager will lead the Vendor/Third-Party Risk Management programs, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies, and conducting risk assessments to implement mitigation strategies for vendor-related risks.
