The Supplier Specialist is responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate supplier information in the company’s Supplier Management and Procure-to-Pay systems. This position involves monitoring and completing requests for additions or changes to the supplier database to ensure timely and appropriate activations, de-activations, and changes. The Specialist will provide follow-up and technical assistance to external suppliers and internal users, review the supplier database to ensure data integrity and compliance including updated certificates of insurances and contracts, implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across multiple systems, develop reporting to present metrics to management, and manage projects as needed under the direction of the Manager.
