Monitors and supports vendor performance by examining relevant performance and cost metrics of moderately complex vendors to compare against appropriate benchmarks. Supports vendor relationships by facilitating communication among stakeholders and addressing any vendor-related business partner issues. Aids in the sourcing of new vendors to fill business need as necessary by conducting a comparative analysis of the relevant suppliers. Supports supplier contracts by translating moderately complex procurement requests and requirements to be included into contract specifications. Contributes to the administration of procurement activities as needed including execution of requisitions, purchase orders, payments, and returns.

  • Utilizes advanced knowledge of vendor sourcing protocols, vendor evaluation, selection criteria, buy-to-pay job tasks, rules, and procedures to maximize vendor performance.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, economics, operations research, public health administration, supply chain management, materials management, or related field AND Minimum five (5) years of experience in vendor management.
  • Alternatively, Minimum eight (8) years of experience in master services, telecommunications, vendor management, or a directly related field.
