POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the Vending Mechanic First Class is to repair and maintain vending and fountain equipment. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position mayor maynot be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. Remove old parts and replace with new parts to keep truck inventory current Plan day's calls Order any special parts not kept in truck inventory Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity,refrigeration, carpentry). After each call, complete paperwork on job and call in paperwork every two hours. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:Required: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D and two years vending mechanic experience; OR (2) fiveyears vending mechanic experience. Basic electricity knowledge Basic plumbing knowledge Apprentice through Master grade mechanic; work depends on skillsPreferred: Related training or certification.
