The Operations Specialist supports the Vermont Emergency Management (VEM) Watch Desk by monitoring developing incidents, maintaining statewide situational awareness, and helping deliver timely public alerts through Vermont's emergency notification systems. This role works closely with state and local partners to ensure accurate information reaches decision-makers and the public. We are seeking candidates with experience in emergency management, public safety communications, dispatch, military operations, or similar environments who can stay organized, communicate clearly, and perform effectively under pressure.
