The Opportunity Commvault is seeking a Sales Intern to join our Velocity Sales Division, where you’ll gain real-world experience and make an impact in a global organization. This internship is designed for individuals eager to learn the ins and outs of tech sales, pipeline development, and opportunity generation. You’ll work alongside a team of strategic sales professionals and learn how to manage campaigns from start to finish, compile and analyze sales data, and contribute to revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a related field (e.g., Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing)
  • Creative, analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and strong phone presence
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented with a competitive edge and winning attitude
  • Affinity for technology and interest in IT, SaaS, or B2B sales (especially B2B SaaS)
  • Solid business and financial acumen
  • Familiarity with Excel required; experience with Salesforce and tools like Outreach or Salesloft is a plus
  • Some relevant experience such as internships, volunteer work, or classroom projects preferred
  • Must be available to work from Tuesday, May 26th until Friday, August 7th.
  • This role is onsite in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

  • Experience with Salesforce and tools like Outreach or Salesloft is a plus
  • Some relevant experience such as internships, volunteer work, or classroom projects preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to run sales campaigns and support new business segments
  • Source new sales prospects and schedule product demonstration appointments
  • Engage with leads captured by Marketing to book demos and qualify opportunities
  • Analyze market and sales data to provide insights into current trends and guide sales efforts
  • Connect with prospects via inbound/outbound calls, chat, and email to position Commvault solutions
  • Perform daily outbound dialing to marketing responders and target prospects/customers
  • Maintain a target of 130–150+ activities per day
  • Build rapport with customers, business partners, and internal sales counterparts for seamless collaboration
