About The Position

Halfords Garage Services is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their new Fusion Centre. This upgraded facility is designed to provide a first-class customer experience and a great working environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanic passionate about delivering excellent customer experience and ensuring vehicle safety. The role involves conducting MOT tests to DVSA standards and performing a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, including advanced diagnostics, repairs, and routine services, all to the highest standards. Requirements

Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
Valid MOT Testing Licence
Full drivers licence with less than 9 points

Responsibilities

Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards
Complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work
Perform advanced diagnostics & repairs
Conduct routine services
Ensure every job is done to the highest standard
