About The Position

The Vehicle Repair Claims Adjuster position at MAPFRE involves handling and servicing Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC) within the Claims Department. The role focuses on ensuring timely and efficient completion of VSC claims while maintaining high-quality customer service for Century's clientele. This position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid model, and it requires experience in vehicle repair, service writing, or as an automobile technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; 3-5 years of previous work experience in the Automotive Industry preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment
• Proficient with computers and applications, including MS Word and Excel
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain the time of answered incoming claim calls to 60 seconds or less
• Effectively adjudicate 20-30 claims per day
• Maintain an average of 40+ calls per day
• Promptly respond to all claim telephone inquiries in a professional manner
• Handle extraordinary claim, customer, or client issues to a successful conclusion
• Maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
• Work closely with the Claims Lead to resolve customer and/or client claims issues
• Complete special projects or other duties as assigned
