About The Position

The Vehicle Processor (Gate) is the first and last point of contact for vehicles entering and exiting the auction. This role is vital for smooth operations, delivering excellent customer service, and safeguarding consignor assets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, customer-focused, and enjoys working with vehicles in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• The ability to withstand long hours during which standing or walking is essential
• The ability to lift 40 pounds and occasionally more
• The ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• The ability to drive in adverse weather conditions
• The employee is required regularly to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, climb up on large vehicles
• Being in fairly good physical shape in order to have the stamina required to perform the required duties

Responsibilities

• Accurately check vehicles in and out using a handheld scanner
• Verify VIN numbers and complete vehicle inspections
• Secure inoperable vehicles and assist with lot organization
• Authorize gate passes and ensure proper vehicle release
• Walk the lot, provide lot security, and support sales operations
• Provide top-notch customer service to dealers, transporters, and team members
