About The Position

SWJ Technology specializes in providing engineering, planning, and project management services across various industries. We are currently seeking Vehicle Process Associate for a client in the automotive industry, specializing in car manufacturing. This position is based in Greer, SC and requires onsite presence. If you’re eager to grow your career and make a meaningful impact on exciting projects, we look forward to your application PURPOSE: This role is responsible for processing and preparing vehicles for distribution to the dealer network. This role includes accessory installation, vehicle movement, quality inspections, inventory scanning, and basic system processing. The position combines hands-on automotive work with repetitive computer-based tasks in internal systems. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with approximately 25% of the shift spent outside in varied weather conditions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in a production environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual transmission (preferred)
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to follow structured processes and safety guidelines
  • Ability to meet physical job demands

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical or vocational training in automotive, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus
  • 1+ year of vehicle-related experience
  • 1+ year of experience with MS Office applications
  • Experience in automotive production or processing environment
  • Experience with inventory or vehicle management systems

Responsibilities

  • Ensures vehicles are scanned accurately into inventory
  • Performs QC1, PD1, and vehicle preparation processes
  • Supports inbound and outbound vehicle movements following FIFO procedures
  • Installs vehicle accessories and parts using hand tools and provided equipment
  • Ensures work tools are properly assigned, tracked, and accounted for
  • Conducts visual inspections of vehicles and parts for quality defects
  • Ensure defective or unused parts are properly scrapped or recycled
  • Utilizes internal systems to process vehicle service orders and vehicle movements
  • Uses handheld scanners to update and track vehicle locations
  • Serves as quality contact for any defects identified on parts or vehicles
  • Assists with accessory installation, vehicle movements, and inventory scanning as needed
  • Performs daily problem-solving while adhering to established work instructions
  • Ensures all deadlines and productivity targets are met
  • Follows 5S methodology and safety standards and principles
  • Applies standard work principles and structured problem-solving methods
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
