Training opportunity. Uniform allotment. Annual bonus potential. Job Summary: The Full-Time Vehicle Prep Detailer is for the cleanliness of all Wheelhouse East Inc. fleet and support vehicles. This position is year-round and is a 32-40 hours per week position. They will champion the company’s mission and vision while modeling the company’s values.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact well with guests and fellow team members
  • Demonstrate outstanding hospitality/guest service
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in the most productive and/or appropriate manner
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain safe and organized working areas
  • Develop a strong knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, processes and chemicals
  • Proficient manual transmission operation or ability to learn
  • Adhere to an event-driven work schedule—shifts ranging between 7AM-9PM.
  • Primarily Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Professionally represent the company in the community, industry organizations, and during events.
  • Use proper and professional language in the workplace, when interfacing with guests or potential clients and when representing the company in an official capacity
  • Be efficient with time management skills, allowing work to get done in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate an ability to perform quality work with no errors in a timely manner
  • Show respect for others and maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain current valid driver’s license, clean driving record, pass a background and drug screening
  • May be required to work long hours when needed, or as business requires
  • Active, physical, on-the-go daily workflow
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Moderate to high levels of stress may be associated with this position
  • Must be able to communicate in English

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the thorough detailing and cleaning of all company vehicles
  • Safe transport of vehicles between various staging areas
  • Assist in the cleanliness and organization of the detail bay
  • Assist with the execution of the vehicle fuel program
  • Learn and understand vehicle detailing products and chemicals
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the company, its products, and its programs
  • Protect the moral, legal, and financial well-being of the company.
  • Continually work with other team members and departments to find new and better ways of accomplishing work and results with an emphasis on safety, accountability, leadership, and guest service.
  • Any other job duties as assigned by management
