About The Position

Cox Automotive is seeking a Vehicle Photographer I to capture and process electronic images of vehicles. This role involves uploading pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verifying the quality and accuracy of each photograph. The position requires maintaining knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website, re-imaging or requesting re-imaging of any substandard images, and processing vehicles through the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures (SOPs) if the location is equipped. The individual will also visibly demonstrate a commitment to safety by following all safety and health procedures and modeling related behaviors. Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in photography preferred.
  • Experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
  • Basic computer software skills are preferred.
  • Certification or education in photography a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
  • Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
  • Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
  • Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
  • Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures.
  • Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
