About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented individual who is looking for a part-time job with a flexible schedule to fill our Vehicle Operations Attendant position. This is an entry level position and a great start to get your foot in the automotive industry! The Vehicle Operations Attendant is responsible for managing and maintaining the dealership’s vehicle and/or parts inventory. This role ensures accurate tracking, timely ordering, and proper organization of stock to support sales, service, and parts operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or relevant coursework a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, automotive dealership operations, or retail preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in inventory management, automotive dealership operations, or retail preferred.
  • Associate’s degree or relevant coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and maintain accurate vehicle and/or parts inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with sales, service, and parts departments to forecast inventory needs.
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and documenting new inventory arrivals.
  • Update inventory management systems to reflect current stock, incoming vehicles/parts, and any discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports for management, including turnover, aging, and stock analysis.
  • Assist with vehicle allocations, transfers, and lot organization.
  • Support audits and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers as needed for orders, returns, or corrections.
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform other administrative or operational tasks as assigned.
