About The Position

Bucknell University is currently accepting applications for a Vehicle Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate in this role performs a variety of support duties to clean and service motor pool vehicles.

Requirements

  • Up to 1 year of vehicle maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of vehicle maintenance experience
  • Commercial driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and detailing of fleet vehicles such as washing, waxing, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing interior and exterior of vehicles.
  • Check and maintain fluid levels on vehicles, perform oil changes and basic maintenance such as tire pressure adjustments, replacing marker lights, etc.
  • Fuel vehicles and ensure they are ready for use.
  • Pick up and drop off vehicles that require service at both on-campus and off-campus locations.
  • As directed by supervisor, provide support to other Facilities trades with tasks including, groundskeeping, mulching, snow removal, furniture moves, and events set-up and teardown.
