About The Position

D&M Leasing Houston is seeking a highly motivated and experienced automotive professional for the Vehicle Inventory Manager position. You must thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment and take ownership of used vehicle appraisals, manage internal processes, and supervise a team of 3. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the used car market.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Minimum 3 years of Dealership operations experience including product knowledge of all vehicle types.
• 2 years Manager/Supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in dealership inventory and appraisal tools such as Vauto, Manheim, Carfax and AutoCheck to ensure accuracy of Appraisal value.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Trade in appraisals—appraise potential trade-ins with a trade value. Utilize Vauto, Manheim, Carfax and AutoCheck to ensure accuracy of Appraisal value.
• Vehicle Check-In—physically inspect and drive each vehicle.
• Accept trade receipts—review bid and check-in sheet in car track to ensure accurate ACV.
• Lot Management—assist with daily vehicle movement, both inside and outside the lot.
• Purchase Order Processing—verify costs and forward invoices to the accounting department.
• Cartrak/Data Entry—perform data entry and invoice processing in Cartrak.
