About The Position
In this role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems, efficient manufacturing processes, and key styling themes. You will be responsible for developing and prototyping concepts that improve product cost, mass, efficiency, manufacturability, serviceability, and user experience. Additionally, you will drive cross-functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems such as interiors, closures, chassis, thermal, powertrain, and electrical distribution to determine product direction. Identifying and resolving geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with engineers, designers, technicians, and suppliers to procure and build physical properties.
