Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive sales, customer service, and/or in a dealership upgrade role
- Strong understanding of automotive sales and service operations
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate between departments
- Comfort with CRM software and dealership management systems
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Works directly with customers who bring their vehicles in for service to identify opportunities to talk about upgrading to a newer model
- Builds rapport and explains the benefits of upgrading (e.g., newer features, better financing, trade-in equity)
- Presents tailored offers based on customer needs and dealership programs
- Acts as a liaison between the service and sales teams to capture upgrade leads from service customers and hand them off to sales consultants
- Coordinates appointments, follow-ups, and communicates opportunities to the rest of the sales staff
- Uses the dealership’s CRM and data systems to track leads, schedule follow-ups, and manage customer information
- Stays up to date on vehicle inventory, manufacturer incentives, and current sales specials
