About The Position

Kenwood Dealer Group seeking three driven and adaptable Vehicle Exchange Coordinators to join our Corporate Purchasing team. This is a highly valuable, strategic position within our organization focused on acquiring premium used vehicle inventory directly from the public. The successful candidates will act as the primary point of contact for vehicle acquisitions originating from our dealership service lanes and Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Instant Cash Offer leads. This role requires a highly refined communicator who can seamlessly pivot between a soft, consultative approach when engaging with established service customers and a more persuasive, persistent approach when managing incoming acquisition inquiries.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in automotive sales, vehicle purchasing, or a strong background in high-level consulting/hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt communication styles, transitioning fluidly from relationship-building to persuasive negotiation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a pipeline of leads effectively.
  • Willingness to master our proprietary systems and acquisition processes (comprehensive training will be provided).
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to work at any of the designated dealership locations.

Responsibilities

  • Service Lane Acquisitions: Proactively engage with current dealership customers in the service drive, utilizing a low-pressure, consultative approach to present vehicle upgrade or direct-purchase opportunities.
  • Lead Management: Receive, manage, and aggressively pursue incoming leads from KBB Instant Cash Offer customers, employing persuasive communication strategies to secure vehicle acquisitions.
  • Location Flexibility: Rotate dynamically between Northgate Ford, Fairfield Volkswagen, and Beechmont Subaru based on daily traffic and inventory acquisition needs.
  • Process Execution: Conduct accurate initial vehicle assessments, facilitate the appraisal process, and guide customers smoothly through the acquisition transaction.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Maintain retail hours to ensure maximum coverage during peak service and customer traffic times.
