The Emissions and OBD Development (EMOD) team is part of the Electrified Propulsion division of HATCI. We advance propulsion efficiency and performance across Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis internal combustion and hybrid powertrains, directly shaping the refinement, competitiveness, and technological leadership of the vehicles our customers drive every day. EMOD leads testing and development of engine and electrified propulsion management systems, emissions and diagnostics calibration, and exploration of new technologies that enable next-generation propulsion solutions. About the Role We are looking for an innovative and highly motivated Vehicle Emissions & OBD Calibration Engineer to join our EMOD team in Superior Township, MI. In this role, you will help ensure our propulsion systems meet increasingly stringent emissions and OBD requirements while delivering exceptional performance and efficiency. This position provides hands-on opportunities to shape the next generation of internal combustion, hybrid, and electrified propulsion technologies.
