About The Position

Safely prepare and conduct vehicle emissions tests on chassis dynamometers Perform daily testing in accordance with test schedule and outlined safety processes Work alongside team to support all testing, maintenance, and project work Assist with hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical issues Learn to conduct routine calibrations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs Willingness to participate in emissions laboratory and facility improvement projects

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience working with mechanical and electrical fundamentals
  • Understanding of vehicle safety and architecture, automotive experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical components and safety
  • Ability to apply creative and critical thinking to solve problems
  • Knowledge and interest in automotive, dynamometers, emissions analysis equipment
  • Previous automotive / facilities / electrical / repair / diagnostic experience is a plus
  • Computer proficiency and open to learning new software, tools, systems
  • Good team player with excellent teamwork and communication
  • Ability to commute daily to jobsite in the Chino area M-F (Core hours 7am – 5pm)
  • Schedule needs set by manager
  • Flexibility to work overtime weekday’s and or weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of vehicle safety and architecture, automotive experience is a plus
  • Previous automotive / facilities / electrical / repair / diagnostic experience is a plus
