  • Using a handheld device, input vehicle information including the VIN number, miles, owner identification, vehicle options, repair orders and any other pertinent information.
  • Verify the VIN number being entered matches the VIN number on the shipper's Bill of Lading.
  • Generate Stock-In sticker & Auction Sale Sticker (Vehicle Run Number) and apply it to the window.
  • Write vehicle run number on the window.
  • Issue new run stickers for vehicles not sold in prior week's auction and input information into AuctionTrac.
  • Check gate passes to ensure vehicles are authorized to exit property.
  • Observe departing vehicles to guard against theft of company property.
  • Greet customers at the gate and provide prompt and courteous service.
  • May perform security functions such as securing the gates, patrolling the lot, securing buildings, Verify only authorized individuals enter the property.
  • Sound alarms and notify authorities in case of emergency.
  • Maintain good operating condition of all equipment and facilities, including handheld devices and printers. Notify manager of all breakdowns and maintenance needs.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Automotive/auction experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Hardworking, motivated team player.
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements.
  • Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles.
